RLPD brainstorms with experts to improve interpreter curriculum

The Rights and Liberties Protection Department (RLPD) gathered interpreters and related people from various departments under the Ministry of Justice to brainstorm plans to improve the interpreter curriculum. The event was held in Basil room on the third floor of Best Western Plus Vanda Grand in Nonthaburi Province. RLPD Director-General Ruengsak Suwaree presided over the opening ceremony. 

The meeting discussed improving the current curriculum in an effort to improve the skills of interpreters who are going to attend the interpreter training by the department in the following years. Registration of interpreters and producing an interpreter manual were also discussed. 

It was also announced at the meeting the number of criminal cases that use interpreter services of the department in 2019. A working committee was also set up in order to improve the judicial system through the improvement of interpreting services of the department.
